Useful things to have in your car in case of an accident include:-
- Pen and paper
- First aid kit
- Torch
- Camera
At The Scene
If you find yourself in an accident:-
- You must stop after an accident, stated by UK law
- Check to see if anyone is hurt, and if needed, call an ambulance immediately
- If there has been an injury, you need to tell the Police and get an incident number
- Never admit liability at the scene
Exchange the following details with persons involved in the accident:-
- Name & address
- Vehicle make and model
- Registration number
- Insurance company
- Policy number, if available
- Make a note of the names, addresses and registration numbers of any witnesses
After An Accident

Our claims team will take the details of your claim over the telephone and talk you through what happens next.
We will then send you to the nearest recommended repair garage or organise for them to contact you.
Alternatively, you can have your car repaired at a garage of your choice but you must make sure we approve the estimate before having repairs carried out.
